This blog began in as the story of a sabbatical journey by bicycle from home in the north of England to Santiago de Compostela in north-west Spain. I reckon it is time to pick up the journey in a different way...

Catterick via Northallerton, Durhamx2 and Wolviston - Mar 2-10 2010 by revdbrooke at Garmin Connect - Details
Method 2 - direct posting using a feature in Garmin Connect:
Time to start testing new things...
One of the things I hope to do while I am on my sabbatical journey is to post maps of my wanderings. My new bike computer (a Garmin Edge 500 - see links) tracks where I've been, and I can then upload the data to my computer or to the web. Apparently I can then embed a link to a ride that I have marked as 'shared' for you all to see. The one I am going to try to embed here is a bit of a mess because I accidentally turned the computer off for part of it, and three rides got conflated into one, but I'm just getting used to it, so accept this is just a test and humour me.
